It was one of her favourite places. Although many avoided due to it's smell, it was one of the few times she was happy for a lack of smell. Anosmia had it's perks. She could wander and explore the forest without a care. Of course, this often meant the smell lingered on her. But then again, she didn't really care what the smell was. Usually the peppers she coated her fur in did the trick, but she could always manage with the smell. She didn't have deal with it. So, it was Griim's problem.
The trees were a labyrinth in itself, the deeper she fled, the tighter she got. It was a relief to twist and turn in to bending shapes that would leave a wolf gasping and broken on the floor. The branches dipped to the ground and the roots looped and buried into the earth only to pop back up again. With a wriggle of her shoulders, she managed to escape it's boundries.
It wasn't exactly a clearing, but the roots didn't threaten to break paws and the branches didn't snag at her long fur.
Vixen and none of the other Iratus would be here. She could get away with a moment of peace. She sprawled across a log and let out a rare content sigh. Yeah, she could get used to this. Maybe spruce the place up. Soften the ground so she could dance happily in secret. Yeah, nice.

The forest was such a peaceful and yet eerie place, it provided shelter from the sunlight but one had to be careful when the daylight began to fade. The world altered from the nocturnal hours to the sunlight hours, The two tails flicked back and forth casually, not in any real emotion. The titan went deeper and deeper into the forest, not once questioning what else what here for he knew he was the deadliest thing around. It would be a fool to take him on, yet he welcomed anyone who wished to try. Grinning at his inner thoughts the wolf continued along his path, inhaling and exhaling deeply. Wondering if he may come upon another wolf today, oh how he prayed for some stimulation. He wished to toy with the mind of another, even if it was just for a bit he craved the amusement.
Illusive apricot gaze took in the surroundings, his massive frame moving along slowly. The wind tousled his ivory coat, tugging and doing its best to mess up his look. The late afternoon light peered through the canopy of the forest, lighting of up his scars every time his body touch light. The creature continued to prowl until the faint scent of another wafted on the breeze, Vladimir becoming quite intrigued that another was within this forest. The male did not quicken his pace but he certainly kept his sense focused on the wolf, not wishing to lose the company. Forked tongue slid through the lips of this male, scenting the air able to detect just as good as or better than his nose. The being could not wait to arrive with the other, to feast upon their possible fear or tension.
Vladimir was not a pleasant being, he preferred to sin and live life the way he wished to. The male only cared for himself and that suited him perfectly, though it did make him a bit emotionless and numb. The devilish male wandered onward, searching for the other wolf who lingered in these woods. A grin lays on his leathery lips, not at all fading as he drew nearer and nearer. Finally he saw the other wolf, as his grin grew wider his orange gaze met the females body. She laid sprawled across a log, completely at ease and also unaware of what was stalking behind her. "Be careful deary other strangers may not be so welcoming as me." His deep vocals rumbling from his throat, while the thick poison could be noted through his handsome noxious tones.

Really, Griim should have known. She should have known that bad luck trailed her shadow. That finding peace and quiet was like a wish on a star. A useless, childish thing. Her ears flicked to the base of her skull, perhaps hoping that he would continue on his way, leave her alone and do his own business.
But no, he opened his mouth and with like silver, did he talk. A growl started in the base of her stomach, sliding out of her mouth like a beast about to wake up. She moved slowly, stiffly as her body still wished to ignore the brute and have a nap. Instead, she twisted a contortionist position with narrow red eyes. Twisting herself as a warning, like a rattler would shake his tail, Griim would show her scars. Warn foe and friend alike she was not to be trifled with. She was a warrior, she did not so much demand respect, but to believe she had earned it. She had fought for lead Iratus with tooth and nail, trying not to lose any more of herself underneath Vixen's rule.
She merely glimpsed over the wolf before dismissing him. I would be careful amigo. You might come across others who might not be as patient as me.
She snapped briskly, words rolling off her tongue like song. She narrowed her eyes and although her instincts fought against it, she relaxed again on the log with narrowed eyes. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

This female certainly held spark, a fire that summoned like a cobra. Vladimir did not fear her reaction, in fact if anything he gained a tad bit of respect for the wolf. Nostrils flaring the male took his time, listening carefully to her words and then with great amusement a deep chuckle exploded from his lips. "You are too kind deary.." His lips spilling the noxious poison, the deep octaves were in a teasing tone. As one could clearly see this male looked as though he cared not of his warning, yet in actuality this demon was quite aware of what capabilities this opposing creature may posses. His tangerine gaze fell upon her coiled frame and indeed he drew closer, allowing her still enough room to breath though the massive male made his darkened presence well known.
Muscles were at ease and the wolf completely relaxed, meeting that ruby gaze he grinned wildly. "Tell me dear Widow are you always so shrew like?" He questioned actually curious to see what she said. Though to be quite frank the male was being sarcastic, his cynical self was all to amused now that she had responded. Even if the female would have continued to lay the beast would have found some manner to grasp her attention, a slight tilt of his skull as his eyes greedily took in her appearance. The forked tongue slithered through his leathery lips, only to return slowly after giving them a light lick. Ears positioned forward to catch what words the female may give once again, or possibly would she attempt to make another pointless growl.
The growl did nothing for Vladimir, just because he was very large did not mean he thought he could win every battle. Though Vlad did know that he was not an opponent many would expect, for the male was merciless in battle not caring who looses their breath. His tails flicked back and forth showing that the being was completely at ease, and with this he had to speak just once more before patiently waiting. "Your fire entices me.." His words sounded like a hiss, the male cackling lightly as he listened for her words. This female was turning out to be more interesting than he assumed, that was always pleasing to this deadly creature. Exhaling he ceased movement, that is until this female reacted.

She forced herself not to shiver, although that didn't stop her skin from crawling. Once perhaps, she would have taken in his words and laughed at his demeanor. Once, she would have been care-free and let herself enjoy his suave tongue, enjoy the bickering. But now that her heart been torn out of her chest, she could only find a knot of fear where courage once grew.
Rather than show that inch of fear, she swallowed it and narrowed her eyes. She remembered her vow of silence, her will to contain her tongue and merely scowled. Another growl started low in her stomach and rumbled through her body as he inched closer. Griim focused on him, not scuttling back like a cockroach into the shade, although she wanted to flee.
Her skin crawled although made no motion, only the slightese movement in the remained hinge of her tail, a small shake as it rose. My fire is going to burn you if you get too close.
She snarled, not backing down although she wished to contort herself underneath the tree-roots and wash her skin from his stare. Instead, she thrust her muzzle forward, lunging her body close and snapping like a shark at the air that echoed sharply in the air. Watch yourself. She warned. Did creatures always have to be such fools? He had to question for this female must have wished for her death. It was not her words, or her growl it was the snapping of her jaws that ignited this male. Tangerine eyes gleamed with a predatory glaze, deep baritones rumbled from his chest as his growl exploded. Snarling viciously as he lunged at the female snapping his massive jaws only a few inches from her skull. With teeth bared a slight smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. " Deary I suggest you stay on my good side..." He chuckled lightly, his massive frame tensed and ready to strike her delicate frame. He growled deeply once more as if to make certain that his point had gotten across to the wolf, she needed not to play with demons.
Tails swished viciously as they waited for the female to answer, not quite settled with how much fear he had put into this being. Forked tongue slide through his jaws and teeth every so often, watching the wolf carefully and then he turned stepping a few feet from the female. "Now do tell me how does one wake in such a horrid mood as you?" His questions were odd and random to say the least. Possibly he was a tad insane, which Vladimir knew would not be a surprise. Illusive gaze fell onto the ruby eyed female, curious if she had decided to make a move yet or not. Vlad would not be challenged, if she did this again he would draw blood. Vladimir would make certain his point was clear and there was absolutely no doubts.
Vladimir allowed his thoughts to wander as to what he may do to this being if she made the choice to be stupid or would she straighten up even just slightly. Vlad grinned with a devilish look, for he was quite enjoying his sadistic thoughts. The wind blew gently, tugging at his ivory coat ears positioned to focus upon the wolf. Grand paws stayed in place, no movement really came from the male but this primitive creature would switch just like a light switch. He was not one to push or wish to fight with, not just his sheer size but he actually held skills of war. Vladimir did not bear all of his scars just because he had lost, he had survived to show them and wear them proudly like war medallions.

The ears twitched, almost pinning themselves to the back of her head in annoyance. And I suggest the same, chico She said, silently applauding herself. Griim wasn't the most.. sharpest tool in the shed. She wasn't particularly intelligent, but rather, street-smart. More or less so, Griim was satisfied when she managed to get a witty comeback in a conversation. Or even manage to connect the dots. Not that her occupation really required intelligence, just strength and dominance.
She tilted her head and listened to his words, letting the question hang in the air. That was a good question really. What made her so bitter, so angry? What made her snap at any wolf that dare to come near? That led her to disappear into the woods for extended periods of time.
At first, she thought of her dancing. How she couldn't anymore. When Tigriim tried to dance, tried to dance something happy and weight-less, her paws stood frozen on the ground. Her mind would fill with the sounds of screaming, of the sounds of shattered bones. Her paws would slowly ache as she tried to move yet couldn't. There was a reason why she couldn't dance. Why her heart was made of stone.
The mood comes with being broken.
She replied, surprising herself when her voice wasn't hoarse but loud. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
