He likes to be called "Captain Vervain", "The Captain", or "Mr. Vervain"(if you must), or simply "sir" Gender:-----> Male Age: 11 Years Young! Breed: Gray Wolf mutation: None illness: His mind is as sharp as a tack, though others would argue differently. |Power: The power of annoyance to other wolves. fur Color: Off-White Eye Color: Dark green, almost black Act 2; When I was a young lil' pup Appearance type: When Vervain was in his prime he was a sight to behold. Pristine white fur and a large frame that impressed many a female, especially all of his battle-scars. However, his form hardly impresses anyone now... His fur has turned a shade that's slightly darker than white, almost resembling cream and usually it's quite stringy and unkempt. It also is long and when that's combined with how Vervain doesn't really groom himself much it makes for matts. His form has remained quite large, he is taller than most others in his pack and he still is muscular though it is quite obvious that he's past his prime and could no longer hold his own against most other wolves. The only things on him that remain in relatively good condition are his dark green eyes and his teeth. For some reason Vervain's teeth haven't started to fall out (which is a miracle) and he has a very good bite, reserved for "pups" that get on his nerves. Personality: Conceited. This wolf is very conceited about his once-held position of the leader of guards, that's the very reason why he insists on being called "Captain". He's also conceited about what he used to do "back in his day" and won't hesitate to tell you all about it. Think you can get away from one of his stories? Think again. He'll follow you and keep on telling you about plus he'll tell you what he thinks about your running off. So, it's easier just to sit and listen from the get-go. Vervain has no qualms with telling you what he feels, whether it's good or bad or if it's just some random fact about the weather. Whatever comes to his mind he'll say, no matter what it may do to your feelings. Being an elder does nothing to help because who is going to tell off an elder? Hardly anyone. Although if you manage to do so he may just have a little respect for you... may. It's easy to get on Vervain's good side by sitting and actually pretending to be interested in his many stories about the "good ole days" or if you're lucky you'll hear about the legends of humans, which may actually end up being a good story for he does indeed have good ones. Mind you, he may end up exaggerating (a lot) the stories but that doesn't make them any less interesting. Vervain also has a lot of experience about life. Granted, he was never a stupid wolf but with age he has gained even more knowledge and if he likes you enough my impart some of said knowledge to you. On the opposite side it's very easy to get on Vervain's bad side as well. He is grumpy and has a short fuse and can usually be found complaining about the unruly "whippersnappers" of the pack. Be careful what you do in front of him or you may get a severe talking to that'll leave your pride barely intact (or gone). Act 3; When rats were rats and wolves were wolves History: Vervain had a normal puphood, he was raised by his parents and grew up playing with his brothers and sister. When he was old enough he took the rank of a guardian because of his size but it was obvious that he would soon be the leader of the guards for he had brains as well as brawn. When the day finally came it was the best moment of his life. He had many adventures with the guards and enjoyed every moment of it. When he reached the age of four he found a mate and she gave him two children, further improving his life as his son Zoce was his pride. When he finally reached an age where he had to retire he already had grandchildren. Some that he was proud of, some that he wasn't so proud of... So was the life of an old wolf. Brother: Raydin, Triss Sister: Talli Father: Bugloss Mother: Myria Mate: Zeray Pups: Zoce, Niani Grandson: Verdain Rank/Position: Wizened Pack: Aserio Act 4 the final act; I howled my song to the sky && Ipod;; Red Solo Cup (don't ask me why it just does...) |
