Filthy. The smart lady had chastised herself numerous times for meeting here, at the questionable waters of Reveri. How many unhygienic creatures had bathed themselves? Times like this only reminded Leviathan of the life of Aserio, how pure and clean everything was. Now she was forced to stand at the sandy bays of a less then pure water source, sniffing hesitantly at the murky edge. Of course she could always wait for a small rain to quench the insufferable thirst, but summer was nearing and god knows when the next rain would be. Agaisnt her better judgement, she finally bowed her head to softly sample the liquid. Nothing like the sweet water of Ophelia, but it would do. She had no hard feelings, not after her exile. But that didn't mean her heart didn't pine to find her family again, to even see the living again. It was Leviathans thought that, yes - after enduring the crippling pain of transmorphing - you died. You died, and ceased all connection with the living. For mutated wolves weren't alive, no. They couldn't possibly be. Leviathan no longer felt alive, atleast, she could no longer feel the warmth and joy of a delightful morning day, breathe in the fresh smell of daisy's and wild flowers. It all meant absolutely nothing to her any more. Lifting her head ever so delicately from the water, she moved back from the edge, her lifting her tail slightly so it would not drag in the scummy liquid. Her eyes, glowing even more so in the beginning of the day, glittered with a calm aura. They wandered and rested upon the small pebbles and rocks littering the shoreline, and Leviathan decided that today, Reveri would be her resting place, and without haste she sat herself firmly on the ground; casually laying and wrapping her long bushy tail close to her body. Staring out into the waters, lost in thought. |
