I'm sure you all are curious why this weird account is here. Well, we as admins have decided that it would be fun to have an account that sort of "interrupts" threads. This can literally be at anytime, and either good or bad.
Literally, anything can, and will happen. But here is some stuff you will need to know-
Yes, your character can die. It is your choice whether it happens or not however, BUT the higher the danger, the least likely your character will atleast make it out unharmed. For any injuries sustained during a random event, (Physically OR mentally) you have 3 days to suffer the effects of such an injury. BUT with a mental impairment, (we will talk about this in detail later) it it depends on the level of the random event.
Now, there are random events such as spirits, or ghosts. These are dead mutated wolves. They do not go to any sort of heaven, since they are mutated; thus they haunt the loner lands. when a random event is a ghost, it can do physical, AND mental damage depending on the severity, or "level" of the situation. It is your choice whether your character is permanently harmed mentally by these encounters or not.
Random events can be good, too. Ie, you may happen upon a prey animal that if killed- may benefit or heighten the senses of the characters that eat it, if only for a short time. It may also heal wounds, and small ailments.
AND DON'T WORRY, THE MORE DANGEROUS IT IS- THE MORE RARE IT IS.
